Steps to Apply Online for SSC GD Recruitment 2023-24
Interested and eligible candidates may apply online for these vacancies through online mode by visiting the official SSC Portal. Candidates have to follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2023-24.

Step 3: Complete the Registration process of SSC Portal by providing basic details of yourselves like name, parents name, date of birth, email id, mobile number etc. |
Note: It is advised that candidates verify their details before submitting the form. and note the unique Registration ID Provided by SSC Portal for future use purpose. |
Step 4: After registration, Login your ID using OTP provided through Email. |
Step 5: After Login, Set Your New Password. |

Step 7: In the next step, Candidate Has to Fill in
other Details like the Preference of Examination Centres, Preference of
posts, and Details of Qualifying Educational Qualification, and is
required to upload photographs and signatures by following the
requisites mentioned by the Staff Selection Commission of India. |
Photograph - The photograph of a candidate must be clicked in front of a white color or light-colored background. The size of the photograph must be more than 20 kb and less than 50 kb in size. The resolution of the photograph must be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height) in width and height. |
Signature - The signature provided by the candidate must be in black or blue ink
on the white sheet. The scanned copy of the signature that needs to be
submitted must be in jpg format and it should be more
than 1 kb and less than 20 kb in size. The
resolution of the image should be 40*60 pixels in width and height. |
Step 8: After filling out the application form, candidates must preview the entire application, because the application form once submitted cannot be edited again. |
Step 9: Now, you have to pay the examination fee. After successful payment, your application will be submitted. |
Step 10: Also, you will receive an acknowledgment copy of your submission. Keep that acknowledgment copy for future use. |

Syllabus for the Examination
General Intelligence and Reasoning | Analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns will be tested through questions principally of non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc. |
General Knowledge and General Awareness | Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, scientific Research, etc. These Questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline. |
Elementary Mathematics | This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and the relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc. |

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
In the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST), applicants have to complete various physical activities within a specific time limit. Based on the performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT), candidates will be shortlisted for PET/ PST by the Commission. Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from PET. and other Candidates have to clear the race within the following time limits:
